How to remove bias in the Sales and Marketing process
How often do you hear people say “I decided to take this approach because it felt right”? Would you be surprised to find out that these marketing decisions are actually very biased?
A lot of people make decisions based on their own perspective, norms, values, etc… What is troubling is that, despite a number of people who happen to be very intuitive, none of these decisions are actually tested before releasing into the wild.
Even the more intuitive marketeers, if they are responsible marketeers, especially when spending hard-earned revenue monies, test their decisions before finalising a project. Only through testing can marketeers estimate if a campaign will have a positive impact, or not.
In this episode, Avon Collis (CRM and Marketing Automation specialist) talks about using critical thinking and removing bias around decision making to make better marketing decisions that ultimately lead to better sales.
